The Alabama Real Estate Educators Association (AREEA) will be offering instructor trainings this year in addition to the Commission’s instructor trainings. The Commission always offers six-hour IDWs, but AREEA will offer three-hour IDWs hoping this will provide more flexibility for instructors and increase engagement during the sessions.

Get out your sunscreen and flip flops! We are headed back to Baldwin County for our third IDW!

Building on Part 1, but also serving as a standalone course, this interactive workshop guides you through transforming course ideas into an engaging outline. Using Gape Principles, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and adult learning strategies, you’ll develop a clear framework with refined learning objectives, logical content sequencing, and interactive techniques to enhance student engagement.

You will create a comprehensive course outline and content strategy—whether designing a new course or improving an existing course. The session also includes a step-by-step guide for submitting courses to the Alabama Real Estate Commission, focusing on four key approval areas:

1. Course Benefits to Customers/Clients

2. Detailed Content Outline

3. Learning Objectives

4. Learning Strategies

Finally, you’ll have a ready-to-implement course outline and a deeper understanding of effective real estate curriculum design.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Open to all licensed instructors and those working towards an instructor's license that require training hours. Check with AREC Education Department for details.
