AREEA has developed a three-part certification program in conjunction with Karel Murray, DREI, entitled Certified Real Estate Instructor (CREI). All three classes must be taken in sequential order to receive proper credit for the CREI designation.

The purpose of this new certification is to hone the course preparation and teaching skills of Alabama's licensed real estate educators and is open to all pre-license, post-license and CE instructors as well as any licensee that is interested in pursuing a career in real estate education. 

This certification consists of three training classes:

• Part 1: Content Creation, 11/9/2018
  
• Part 2: Content Delivery, 4/12/19
  
• Part 3: Change and Connect, 8/9/19
